Returning to Life After Brain Injury Is Harder Than People Realize

Coaching support for adults navigating work, structure, identity, and daily life after traumatic brain injury.

I understand this personally. At 16, I survived a serious car accident that caused two epidural hematomas and required emergency brain surgery.

Decades later, after a career in school leadership and executive coaching, I’ve become deeply interested in the gap many people face after injury: medical treatment ends, but rebuilding life, structure, confidence, and daily functioning continues.

What I Help With

  • rebuilding routines after brain injury

  • managing overwhelm and cognitive fatigue

  • creating structure for work and daily life

  • follow-through and accountability

  • emotional regulation around change and frustration

  • returning to professional or family responsibilities

  • rebuilding confidence and identity

Who This Is For

  • adults recovering from TBI who are medically stable

  • families looking for practical reintegration support

  • professionals returning to work after brain injury

  • clinicians seeking adjunct support for clients who need structure and accountability

This is coaching, not medical treatment, therapy, rehabilitation, or diagnosis. I work alongside — not in place of — medical, therapeutic, and rehabilitation professionals.
